Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a singer, writer, director and producer. Her most well-known work is her part in the TV drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle and is an artist. His father was Jewish while her mother was educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up in an Reform synagogue located in Alabama. The career of Benson has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She was in films such as The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Behind the camera, Benson used her writing talent to create the Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones. Buffy After putting in the time and effort in locating them, claims that there are more than 1800 Slayers worldwide, with 500 working for their organization, the Scooby Gang.
