Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than twenty years. Her most famed role is for her part on House in the series House on Fox. Raised in Wayne within a conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in acting at the Tisch School of the Arts. But very soon, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes that she was seen by the media and while also becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. She used both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to make and appear in a new musical, Positive Me. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV became her first assignment. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on television and film productions, initially in smaller roles. She gradually established her place as an actor.
