Kari Samantha was an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer first made her acting debut when she was in her teens. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. The youngest of her three siblings. In her teens, she sang in nightclubs and would sneak out of the family home to perform. From the Wooster school at the age of 13, she began studying the art of drama. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned teacher Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Her birth date was April 28 on the 28th of April at Brookfield Connecticut. Kari is the daughter of the father of a German American and a mother who is German-American. Kari has 3 siblings. When she was in her teens her nightclub performances were a highlight when she would sneak away and do so. When she was 13 years older, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School. She then was enrolled in drama classes at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Kari got into acting while she was still in the teen years. Kari got her debut big appearance on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
