
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His first role was Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in Magnum. (1980-1988) in which he received five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead actor in the Drama Series and won in 1985. From 2010 to the year 2010, Selleck has played New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. In nine TV films based upon the Robert B. Parker novels in which he portrayed Jesse Stone, a troubled small-town police chiefwho began his career in 2005. Selleck also played Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architecture as well as a bachelor architecture student in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and A Little Lady(1990). From the time of Magnum, P.I., his appearances have included more than 50 roles on television and in film, including the films Quigley Down Under, Mr. Lassiter and baseball.
